Klaas Devos (he/him) is a Belgian choreographer and researcher in interdisciplinary arts focusing on perception, attention and sensitivity in dance improvisation. He leans on studies at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, PARTS and a.pass Brussels and theatre, dance, and film studies at UAntwerp. Since 2020, Devos engages in a practice-based PhD in dance, Thinking Bodies in dance. A somatic REACh. (research in expanded and algorithmic choreography), supported by the Royal Conservatoire and University of Antwerp. Together with a team of experts, Reach & Collabs., he experimental practice Nervous System version 3, a hybrid creative framework for embodied and computational dance creativity.
